Executive Manager Care

ROLE OVERVIEW

About the opportunity

Seasons is seeking an accomplished, people-focused senior leader to join us as Executive Manager Care, with responsibility for the strategic, operational, regulatory and commercial performance of our care portfolio, encompassing home care, DVA nursing and a boutique residential aged care home.

Reporting to the CEO, you will be a valued member of the Senior Leadership Team and contribute at Board level. You will be accountable for delivering high-quality care while driving performance, sustainable growth and team success.

You will recognise that sustainable growth is built on strong commercial performance, consistently high-quality care and trusted stakeholder relationships.

This is a pivotal role in the next stage of Seasons’ care business, with significant growth on the horizon. Success will be defined by your ability to translate strategy into measurable results, combining operational rigour and commercial acumen with a genuine commitment to improving outcomes for our residents.

Most importantly, you will align strategy, execution and day-to-day service delivery while developing, mentoring and empowering your team.

You will be a dynamic and strategic leader with a strong operational focus—equally comfortable working on the business and stepping into the detail to support your team.

Why this role

  • Competitive remuneration package.
  • You will inherit an established business and a collaborative, warm team.
  • Growth is on the agenda, with new villages and business opportunities you can help drive, shape and deliver.
  • Opportunity to uplift the lives of residents living in our villages, helping them stay connected to the people and communities they love.
  • The Senior Leadership Team is engaged and open to strong leadership and contribution.

Key accountabilities

  • Set and execute the strategic direction for the care portfolio, ensuring consistent operations and sustainable growth across all services.
  • Provide executive leadership of clinical governance, quality, risk, compliance, audit readiness and continuous improvement.
  • Lead the organisation’s response to aged care reform and ensure compliance with all legislative, regulatory, funding and provider obligations.
  • Drive financial performance through disciplined budgeting, cost management, effective funding utilisation and a clear focus on long-term sustainability.
  • Lead workforce planning and capability development, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management and succession planning.
  • Ensure effective systems, documentation and reporting support informed decision-making, accountability and operational performance.
  • Build trusted relationships with residents, families, regulators, partners and other key stakeholders to strengthen service outcomes and enable growth.
  • Ensure governance frameworks are robust, practical and scalable, supporting high-quality care and future business growth.
  • Deliver clear, timely governance reporting and provide effective leadership to relevant committees.
  • Provide after-hours support for critical incidents, outbreaks, regulatory matters and operational escalations.

Your background

  • Current or previous AHPRA registration.
  • Degree qualifications in nursing, aged care, health management, or a related discipline.
  • Desirable postgraduate qualifications in leadership, business, or health management.
  • Experience managing external audits, regulatory responses, and accreditation processes.
  • Significant leadership experience within aged care, community care, healthcare or similarly complex service environments.
  • Proven track record leading multi-layered teams across service delivery models.
  • Demonstrated success balancing quality outcomes with commercial performance.
  • Experience leading change, improving service and supporting organisational growth.
  • Strong understanding of aged care, quality indicators, standards and requirements.

Most importantly, you’ll bring a leadership style that is both highly accountable and deeply person-centred, creating the kind of culture where people can do their best work while delivering exceptional outcomes for our residents.
