Personalised scrap book
There’s nothing more endearing than cherished memories. What better way to remember and reflect this Valentine’s day with a scrap book of your faviourite photos, personalised messages and memorabilia. Scrapbooking provides a great opportunity to capture and preserve all your beautiful memories with that special someone. There are three main elements to scrapbooking; photos, mementos and journaling. Basic materials needed include a scrapbook, background papers, photo corner mounts, acid-free glue and scissors. Including embellishments such as stickers, lace, beads, ribbons and sequins add a vibrant layer to your scrapbook story. You can find great inspiration from local craft stores and gather the tools needed to create the perfect Valentine’s Day scrapbook from stores such as Spotlight and Kmart.
Say it with flowers
An aged old tradition, but still one of the best. Flowers have been an integral part of all cultures and are a wonderful way to express yourself to that special someone. Sending flowers is a great way to remind them that we love them, even if we can’t tell them to their face. Red roses have been a timeless and iconic symbol for deep and everlasting love making it a truly romantic keepsake and tradition for Valentine’s Day. But did you know flowers have different meaning? There are a number of great books to widen your knowledge to create your very own carefully planned bouquet to deliver your desired message this Valentine’s Day:
