Seasons Sinnamon Park is looking for a friendly, reliable Bus Driver to help our residents travel safely and comfortably during organised outings, on a casual basis.
The role also involves providing additional support within the community where needed, for example setting up for events or helping in the kitchen, when not required for driving duties.
More than simply driving, this is an enjoyable role within a collaborative workplace, with a strong focus on building warm, trusted relationships with residents.
This is a casual opportunity, approximately 20 hours per week/3-4 days per week.
You will:
- Safely transport residents to and from scheduled outings and appointments, ensuring comfort, dignity and wellbeing at all times.
- Deliver high-quality customer service by engaging positively with residents and supporting their participation in activities and outings.
- Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and coordinate cleaning, maintenance and repairs to ensure the bus is safe and well presented.
- Assist residents with mobility support, including helping them safely enter and exit the vehicle and supervising passengers during transit.
- Drive in accordance with all road rules, safety requirements and organisational policies, contributing to a safe environment at all times.
- Support the wider community team with general duties as required, such as event setup, deliveries, and other tasks directed by management.
Who we’re looking for:
You’re someone who is reliable, provides exceptional customer service, enjoys working collaboratively within a team, and is genuinely passionate about supporting older people.
You’ll also bring:
- Excellent driving record and experience driving a small bus/people mover.
- Current open QLD Drivers License for vehicle size.
- Unrestricted Australian working rights.
- Current national police check.
- Certificate III in Aged Care (desirable).
