About the Role
Seasons is looking for an excellent cleaners to join our community at Mango Hill. We have both part-time and casual opportunities available
Reporting to the Community Manager, this role plays an important part in creating a safe and happy home environment for our residents. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, is always willing to help, and who enjoys building a rapport with elderly people.
Core Responsibilities
- Build a rapport with residents, upholding Seasons values and contributing to a positive culture within the community.
- Mopping and vacuuming floors, damp dusting, waste management, restocking of supplies and assisting with laundry practices as required.
- Ensure all common community areas (e.g. reception, hallways etc) are kept neat, tidy and clean at all times.
- Safe storage and use of cleaning agents.
- Ensure standards of hygiene are maintained and risk of contamination is minimised under the infection control program.
- Adhere to WHS policies and procedures to minimise risk of workplace injury/illness.
Top Skills
- Demonstrated high quality previous cleaning experience.
- Previous experience in aged care and/or hospitality (desirable).
- Passion for customer service and interacting with a variety of people.
- Understanding of cross contamination risks and importance of hygiene when cleaning for people with low immunity conditions.
- Good working knowledge of WHS requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Interest in ongoing personal and professional development.
- Flexibility with hours when workload demands, including ability to work on a weekend if and when required.
Requirements
- Experience in an operational cleaning role.
- Unrestricted Australian working rights.
- Current national criminal check.
